Current Releases White Wines 2007 Estate Unoaked Chardonnay - Russian River Valley Bright, lush flavors of fragment citrus, stone fruits, pineapple, green apple, mineral notes and balanced acidity, leads to a clean, long finish. 120 Cases produced 2006 Chardonnay - Reserve - Russian River Valley CLUB ONLY Barrel fermented and aged for over 14 months, this wine is lush, fragrant and full flavored with a silky finish. Aromatic honeysuckle and hints of hazelnuts are followed by complex layers of minerals and bright tropical fruits, with peach and notes of sweet vanilla. 115 Cases produced - 23 cases left Red Wines 2006 Pinot Noir - 4 Dijon Clones - Russian River Valley Aged in French Oak, this blend of four Dijon clones is rich, full flavored with ripe cherry, strawberry and complex layers of juicy fruits with delicate spices and a long silky finish. 162 Cases produced - 25 cases left 2006 Pinot Noir - Reserve - Dijon Clones - Russian River Valley This silky, perfectly structured and balanced wine is rich with raspberry, wild strawberry and juicy stone fruits with hints of roses, sweet vanilla, spices leading to a velvety finish. 110 Cases produced - 25 cases left 2007 Pinot Noir - "5 Dijon Clones" - Russian River Valley Luscious texture and a deep garnet color greets the eye. The wine has a luscious mouth-feel, as nuances of raspberry jam, right strawberries, and vanilla cream with a hint of spice fills your senses. This wine has a long clear balanced finish. 165 Cases Produced - 60 cases left 2007 Pinot Noir - 6 Bottle Box Set - Dijon Clonal Selections - Russian River Valley This special box set offers the opportunity to experience 4 different Pinot Noir clones fermented and bottled individually allowing you to taste the flavor profiles winemakers evaluate in blending to create their wines. Culminating in a two and three clone blend, each bottle shows the unique characters of each of the clones. Box set includes one bottle of Clone 667, Clone 777, Clone 459 and Clone 114. The final 2 bottles showing the difference of a two clone versus three clone blends. Limited Edition - 224 Sets 2007 Pinot Noir - Dijon Clone 777 Often used as a stand-alone clone, this particular wine lends itself well to blending acting as a wonderful canvas on which to add layers of other flavors. 777 exhibits the bright cherry and strawberry notes typically associated with Russian River Pinot Noir. The mid pallet has some nice spice notes. 1 barrel - 22 cases 2007 Pinot Noir - Dijon Clone 114 Traditionally used in blends; this clone is rarely (if ever) bottled on its own. Has a tendency to accentuate bright red fruits. Often used to show off aromatics, has an ethereal quality to its structure, teasing the pallet with an almost fog-like quality. You know it is there, but difficult to touch and feel. This clone rounds out the pallet nicely in blends. 1 barrel - 22 cases 2007 Pinot Noir - Dijon Clone 459 Not as common in Russian River blends, a real gem. Can stand alone and is very popular with our wine club members, this clone has lots of spice reminding one of a Persian market. Wonderful cedar notes hit the mid-pallet with a nice finish. In blends, a little can go a long way. 1 barrel - 22 cases 2007 Pinot Noir - 2 Dijon Clone Blend - Clones 459 and 114 While not typical of our other Pinot Noirs' style, this was largely an exploration to see how far we could push the intensity and fullness of our Pinot Noir blend. Combine clones with strong characteristics - mix in yeast known for extraction and it pulls as much out of the grape possible to the point of being almost over the top! Small berries from a low yield vintage just added to the fun. Enjoy this once in a life time experience. 3 barrels - 72 cases 2007 Pinot Noir - 3 Dijon Clone Blend - Clones 777, 667 and 115 A classic Russian River Pinot Noir. The cherry notes shine through balanced by the combination of the 667 and 777 with top notes provided by the 115. This wine is very well balanced with great structure and aromatics and will age gracefully. 2 barrels - 48 cases 2007 Malbec - Chalk Hill Region of the Russian Valley Deep black-garnet color with silky layers of creamy red and blue berries blend with spiced blackberry and hints of vanilla mocha. This plush texture and bright fruit ends with a long, balanced finish. 170 Cases produced Sold Out - 2006 Super Tuscan Blend - Sold Out 75% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah, unites into a rich layered complex blend with dried cherries, hints of blackberry, cedar, and licorice, with a touch of cassis, leather, mineral and vanilla spices. 94 Cases produced - Only 10 cases left 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon - Reserve - Chalk Hill Region of the Russian Valley Only eight barrels were produced of our estate mountain grown Cabernet. Savor the rich flavors of black cherry, spiced vanilla, cola and currants, with hints of mineral, coca, sweet cedar and tobacco. Aged 21 months in French oak barrels. 180 Cases produced 2006 Zinfandel - Russian River Valley The Reserve Zinfandel, from our two mountain vineyard blocks is bursting with luscious, deep flavors, bright cherry, blueberry and juicy blackberry, smoothly layered with black pepper, spices and the silky vanilla notes of slow barrel aging. 90 Cases Library wines 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon - Reserve - Chalk Hill Region of the Russian Valley Our estate grown elegant wine with a rich texture and complex layers of ripe black cherry, juicy wild berries, cassis, hints of vanilla, cocoa and spiced herbs. Bottled in aged French oak barrels. 162 Cases produced 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon - Winemaker's 2 Barrel - Chalk Hill CLUB ONLY Our hand crafted ruby red wine fills the senses with rich layers of black cherry cola, tossed vanilla, and black currants, accented by mocha, sweet cedar and licorice. 44 Cases produced - 20 cases left 2006 Sangiovese - Chalk Hill Region of the Russian Valley CLUB ONLY With just two barrels produced, our Summit Sangiovese is elegant, showcasing layers of black cherry cola, raspberry and roses, scented with hints of tangerine peels, mocha, cinnamon and vanilla spices. 42 Cases produced - Only 9 Cases Left 2006 Syrah - Summit Vineyard - Chalk Hill Region of the Russian Valley CLUB ONLY Saturated indigo color leads into intense, plush fragrances and flavors of blackberries, cassis, blueberries, and licorice, with hints of vanilla, roses and smoked bacon. 24 Cases produced - 9 cases left 2005 Zinfandel - Reserve - Russian River Valley Just 6 barrels produced from our top vineyard site resulting in a luscious Zinfandel bursting with bright cherry and juicy black fruit, with smooth layers of black pepper, spices and silky finish of French oak barrel aging. 132 Cases produced *Magnums, Double Magnums and 375 ml. are available on select wines.
